Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly does a Day-Of-Coordinator do?

As a day-of-coordinator, we do just that: We coordinate the logistics of your wedding day to make sure that everything that you have spent months planning runs exactly how you envisioned. From the arrival times of the florist, limo pick up and drop offs, small errands to packing all your gifts and goodies at the end of the night, we will take care of it all. We want you to be a guest at your own event, and enjoy every moment of it all.

Is there a certain type of couple that should hire a Day-Of-Coordinator?

We strongly recommend that every couple that is planning their own wedding hire a day-of-coordinator. Planning the entire wedding without a coordinator is already stressful enough, so the least you can do is hire someone who can handle the stress of the day. Your peace of mind on your wedding day will be worth every penny!

Why hire a wedding planner?

Planning a wedding can be a confronting and stressful experience. It can be a case of juggling a lot of different priorities, not only in your personal life but meeting requests from family especially can be challenging. A wedding planner is not only a great objective reference point for you to help bring your plans and ideas to life, but because we have done it before – we can hit the ground running with what you need and deliver every efficiency in getting our job done. This essentially saves you time, money, and gives you a great sense of feeling in control in the lead up to the wedding day. Our wedding planners can take on as little or as much planning as your life demands.

What is the difference between a wedding planner and a wedding coordinator?

A wedding coordinators job entails duties on the wedding day only where the couple has take on the responsibility of all the planning in the lead up and just hands over a brief of the day to the coordinator. A wedding planner however is someone who has taken some/all of the planning responsibility off the couple in the lead up to the day and who may or may not be responsible for the successful execution of the event on the day itself as well.

My venue already has a coordinator, so why do I need a planner?

Venue coordinators are employed by the venue itself, and are there to serve the venue. Often times venue coordinators are working with many clients and may not have time and attention necessary to attend tot he details of your wedding. Wedding planners/coordinators are involved to serve the couple - solely dedicated to their wedding vision and to ensure their vision comes to life on wedding day.

Do you travel?

Absolutely! Tell us when and where!
